Who is eligible to submit applications?

Non profits, for profits and government agencies with offices in the United States and its territories are eligible to apply. 

Is there an entry fee?

There is no cost associated with submitting entries to Workplace Leaders in Financial Education Awards.

When are applications due?

Applications are due by July 1, 2011.

When will winners be announced?

Winners will be announced October 2011.

Where do I mail my application?

Applications are accepted only via the website, www.wlife.org.

Who will judge my application?

Judges include members of the George W. Bush’s President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy, Subcommittee on Workplace Financial Education; member of the National CPA Financial Literacy Commission; HR professionals and CPAs.

How will be winners notified?

Winners will be notified via email and announced on www.wlife.org.

How will winners be recognized for their achievements?

  • Certificate identifying employer as a Workplace Leader in Financial Education.
  • Electronic seal to place on websites, publications, etc. identifying employer as a Workplace Leader in Financial Education Award Winner.
  • Honored at the New York Stock Exchange with the ringing of an opening or closing bell during October 2011 (date TBD).
  • Feature article in the AICPA’s Journal of Accountancy and SHRM’s HR Magazine highlighting all 2011 WLIFE award winners.
  • Video, to be produced by AICPA, to highlight the achievements of each employer.
